We will never forget our freshman year at college. In general it is a time filled with anticipation, some anxiety, and wonderful discoveries.

The first thing I notice is the workload. It is heavier and more intense than I ever experienced before. 大学文科类怎么自救?

一、如果你还没上大学

如果你在高中选的课限制了你的大学专业选择，选不了STEM相关的专业，还可以考虑以下选择：
信息技术管理类专业。我见过一所大学有两个学院都有信息技术管理类专业的，一个是偏IT的，一个是偏管理的。高中选的全是文科课程，那前者你应该没机会上，但后者可以啊。先上了再说，然后专业课程中应该多少会有一点IT技术类的课程，然后自己课外多努力自学IT技术，一定要培养一点技术优势，能跟IT专业的同学PK的那种水平的。如果能考研，进一步往技术方向转型。如果本科毕业后直接工作，简历和面试中多强调自己的技术优势，笔试中很可能会考编程，你的技术就派上用场了。
少部分文科类专业也能学到一些实用的技术。比如，会计或审计、小语种、英语等相关专业。
二、如果你已经开始了大学文科类专业的学习
如果你已经上了大学，并且很不幸地选择了人文社科类的专业。那你必须认清一个残酷现实，课堂上学的东西跟工作要用的东西可能是两回事。大学扩招之后，大学文凭急速贬值。如今这年代，对绝大部分专业的学生来说，课堂上学的东西没啥用，救不了你的。老天爷给每个人的东西很不一样，这个比专业空耐指更重要的，同专业的学生，毕业后的发展情况可能相差很远很远的。
要想想，等你毕业的时候，除了这个文凭，还有啥独特之处，最好是你可以做到，但你身边绝大多数同学都做不到的。
有些东西是老天爷给的，比如形象、气质、身高、口才、性格、家庭背景、人脉关系、成长经历、身体条件、性别、籍贯等。尽量扬长避短，发挥自己的优势吧。
说些具体的路子供参考吧：

转专业的机会。很多学校都有转专业的机会，提前找师兄师姐了解具体要求。然后，自己的成绩要考好，因为转专业机会有限，一般只给成绩好的学生。转的方向，参考本文第一部分说的那些专业。
课外自学掌握一技之长。比如我是学经济学的，我同专业的同学，有人自学编程成功转行做程序员的，有人自学编程毕业后在互联网行业创业的，有人擅长打游戏后来去做游戏策划的，有人考了会计证书做财务工作的，有人考了雅思高分去国际高中当老师的。总之，根据自身特点，努力想办法吧。

四、如果你是已步入职场的文科生
如果你大学文科类专业毕业，已步入职场，可能已经感受到了社会的残酷。人生已经走了很多弯路，但还是可以尝试尽量改变命运。
回校园继续深造。如果本科毕业没几年、还比较年轻的朋友，可以考虑跨专业考研，换个方向，继续深造。如今国内考研内卷严重，如果家里条件较好，自己英语还不错，可以考虑申请国外大学的研究生，竞争压力小很多。（转的方向，参考本文第一部分说的那些专业。）
业余时间自学掌握一技之长。比如学编程、考CPA、考小语种证书、考雅思或托福、考口译证书等。（参考本文第三部分相关内容。）这个也要趁年轻，年龄大了不好吧。比如说，你34岁学会了编程，在如今的中国，基本也没有企业会招聘你做程序员了。年龄越大，换职业机会越少。
想办法做点副业。如果你有一定的挣钱的技能，但又不想活不能换职业，那也可以在安稳的体制内主业之外，再利用技能做点副业。比如，爬虫、数据分析、备考讲课、财务、小语种、英语笔译、视频编辑、做PPT等这些技能可以尝试弄点副业。
