2.Fordham College at Rose Hill
You’ll hear that Rose Hill is best for students who want a typical, “traditional” college campus. But there’s nothing typical about the education you’ll get here. Small classes mean you’ll connect one-on-one with faculty and mentors and immerse yourself in a research culture that would be off-limits to all but a select few at a larger institution.
That intimate, *all-class experience also opens you up to the life-changing resources that are all over the city. Biology students may do work at the New York Botanical Garden (or at Fordham’s own Calder Center research station, not far from the Bronx.) Archaeology students may do research in Alaska and chemistry students at the Brookhaven National Laboratory. In recent years economics majors have done *ysis for JPMorgan Chase & Co. 4.Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education
Fordham University established the Graduate Institute of Religious Education in 1968, and raised it to the status of a Graduate School in 1975 with expanded goals and programming. Our school draws on its Catholic and Jesuit wellsprings to prepare people of multiple religious traditions to transform their faith into action. We are guided by Ignatius of Loyola's maxim from the Spiritual Exercises: "Love ought to manifest itself more by deeds than by words."
We enroll students from all religious backgrounds and from all over North America as well as from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America, and the Pacific Rim.
